    The Department of Computer Science was one of the first in the University of Madras to offer B.Sc. Computer Science in the aided stream in 1987, to empower young women for the digital era. The Department offers a well balanced curriculum consisting of hardware, software and application oriented courses. The syllabus is revised at regular intervals to keep pace with recent advancements in technology
