Students were exposed to the community to know about the extension of education and community nutrition. They were also engaged in hospital internship as a dietitian to learn about the patients counseling techniques and report analysis. Students were also taken to food kiosk and kitchens of food courts to learn about food service management. As much as I know about Nutrition and dietitian is a very good course which is being efficiently conducted by LPU. Students were exposed to the Community to know about the extension of education and community nutrition. They were also engaged in hospital internship as a dietitian to learn about the patients counseling techniques and report analysis. Students were also taken to food kiosk and kitchens of food courts to learn about foodservice management. They were also involved in new product development and its analysis pertaining to nutrition, shelf life, and cost analysis. Emphasis is given on case studies and inter-personal based teaching to develop skills in analytical thinking and reflective judgment by reading and discussing complex, real-life scenarios. The college provides placement drives facility. These drives help in encouraging and build confidence. Some students are even placed in food industries, and food services, and these placement drives indulge the students with spirits. Most of the students choose higher study or research field but the students who want placements, and even if they are focusing a little bit, they can get the placements from LPU. Companies like Nestle, Hindustan Unilever, and Amul visit our college every year and offered a good salary package. Recently one of our senior who was an average student but had no backlogs got placed in Cipla with a salary of a 4LPA
