The answer to this question is no. To pursue commercial pilot training in India, the minimum qualification required is 10+2 passed with physics and mathematics as main subjects. One must possess this qualification and must also be physically and mentally fit for flying. A pilot aptitude test will be held and one must pass it to become eligible to undergo flying training. And yes, there also will be a medical examination to check whether you are fit to fly.

For pursuing CPL the only compulsory educational requirement is 12th with PCM. 50% marks are the minimum required in the combination. B.Sc or any other graduation for that matter is not required. You can although do your graduation, it shall be an additional qualification and shall not be counted for CPL.
