    Hello D Kumar,
It's really a moot question. The statics is all against engineering. Data released by GoI states that almost 50% of fresh graduates are unemployed!. Even in IIT Delhi 10% students could not get placements. I personally feel that a commerce course with personal finance as specialisation offers the best opportunities! But finally, you must follow your passion.

B.Tech has several streams and you have to decide which streams would be suitable for you. I would suggest you to go for UEM Kolkata being the best college amongst others as it is suitable for you to choose the course of your choice.
