Being a technical graduate, I am not saying that it is a wrong choice but if done from IIT and NIT or BITS, but if It is done from private colleges than it is one of the worst choices because these days for some of the private colleges, B.Tech is just a money making process. At the time of admission

Yes, why not? If you get a good college with a good branch then it is excellent. And if not, work hard to do good in exams.

Yes, absolutely. Nowadays in India, people are opting less for B.Tech because everybody thinks that there are less jobs. But that is not the fact at all. Without engineers, there is nothing. If you have the passion and skills, you the do anything and reach any heights.

Yes, it is fine. Don't worry, go to the college which you are getting after that try to score good marks in college and participate in the extracurricular activities so that you get the confidence and skill set to get a good job after 4 years.
