LPUs biotech is an Engineering programme that seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through labs and projects on biotechnology for building the problem-solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place. LPU School of Bioengineering and Biosciences is equipped with state-of-the-art Bioprocess Engineering and Bioscience labs and believes in imparting knowledge to students through a practical approach to achieve mastery of plant and animal physiology. The faculty works hard tirelessly in enabling students with an acumen to apply the findings of Biosciences in the fields of medicine, forensics, nutrition, and dietetics for the benefit of the community. The eligibility is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Chemistry English and Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. B.Tech Biotech students have a vast scope as they can work in sectors of pharmaceuticals, agriculture, healthcare, food processing, nutrition, animal science, and environmental conservation.
