Is B.Tech CSE of LPU Is better than CU?

Without any bias towards any particular college, I will offer you my own perspective. It depends on your end goals or objectives. Most of the Engineering Colleges in India don't focus much on developing the overall personality of the student. Anyways Your decision making should not be on the basis of placements, packages but on quality of students ( your peer group), faculty, infrastructure, curriculum, and the alumni network. My brother has completed B.Tech CSE from Lovely Professional University and currently he is working in Amazon with the highest package. So through him I come to know about University and few other things which I would like to discuss:- LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. Students can contact them anytime for their study purpose. The latest teaching methods are used in the classroom. The placements on the campus is good enough. It is the best university in the North of India to give the best packages in B.Tech (CSE). During the time of my brother induction, I have seen a few students who got placed in the companies with a package of 42 LPA. The university placement drive undoubtedly works hard for the students to get placed. Just before Final Year of your course, a special team called School of Professional Enhancement will prepare students for upcoming placements and you won't get a day off from placements, every day a company comes to campus. Its just up to you how well you can do and never lose Patience you will get placed, you just have to prepare well for that. The university has tie-ups Oracle to train us better and with huge companies for placements like Google, Microsoft, Capgemini, Amazon, JOSH technology group, Tech Mahindra, TCS and others who visit every year offering attractive packages to students. The average package is around 3.5lakhs - 4.5lakhs p. a. The deserving ones are also seen ceasing the opportunity by getting placed with a whopping package of 20-25 LPA. LPU offers Study Abroad Programme that allows the students to experience the international study culture well under the framework of a different educational system abroad. Thank you!

Lovely professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. , Number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. I am saying this because my cousin brother has completed same course from Lovely Professional University, Reviews are pretty good. Well, the study of CSE in LPU is very good. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. Students can contact them anytime for their study purpose. The latest teaching methods are used in the classroom. Curriculum in CSE branch is very well designed such that they can learn everything from basics to the in-depth knowledge of their field. The College takes them for the industrial visit for more growth and experience. It hands on experience by also working on live projects to develop a sense of problem-solving, and critical thinking in order to gain real-life understanding along with skill enhancement. In addition to core curriculum, the course offers subjects like communication and soft skills to enhance personality. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid stipend too. From Google to Microsoft to Apple, Computer Science students of LPU are working with hundreds of leading IT giants of the world. CSE/IT students secured salary package of up to Rs 27.5 LPA and placement opportunities from companies like Amazon, Adobe, Bosch Engineering, VMware, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Kony India, SAP Labs, Schneider Electric India, HP India, LG Soft India, ITC Infotech, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, KPIT, Morgan Stanley, Drishti Soft Solutions, etc. Last year Tanya Arora from B.Tech CSE got 42 LPA from Microsoft. Seeing all the advantages and opportunities that you will get at LPU, Undoubtedly LPU would be far better choice for CSE than CU. The academics and the curriculum here are far better than those at CU. The faculty members are very knowledgeable and at the same time, they are very helpful. For placements, there are more than 600 companies coming here including Google, Microsoft, IBM, Bosch, Goldman Sachs, etc. Hence, if you are sincere with your studies and work on your coding skills, you can be more than just sure about your placements and that too with a very good package. And as far as the campus life is considered, it is just great at LPU. LPU has a very huge and clean 600-acre campus with world-class infrastructure. It has all the facilities inside the campus itself like banks, post office, etc.

CSE dept. Of LPU is having the highest number of students under a single dept. Being an alumni of LPU I had many friends from CSE and I used to see them wearing formal dress almost every day because their placement drives would happen every day in their final year. Most of the students get offers in their third year itself. The placement record of CSE from LPU is phenomenal. Every year LPU breaks its own record in terms of placements. Many giants like Amazon, Interviewbit have offered packages of around 26LPA to LPU students from CSE. VMWARE, Jugnoo, Pegasystems have offered packages of 9LPA to students, many other companies like Wipro, Capgemini, Bosch have offered packages of 6 LPA and the list is endless. The CSE dept. Of LPU has various tie-ups with Google, Pega, VMWARE, AUTOMATION ANYWHERE, INFORMATICA, COMPUTING TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION (CompTIA). The university has sate of the art labs with the latest software to provide hands on practical exposure to students. Every year students develop various applications and enhance their capabilities to meet the industry demands as soon as they pass out from LPU. In short, if you have opted for B.Tech in CSE from LPU, then you need to worry about getting placed. Just keep on enhancing your academic profile and you will land in a very good MNC once you finish your programme.

I'm alumni of lpu and from my experience, I can say lpu is the best, it has the infrastructure and professional faculty is there, who are always there for students. I have friends who were studying at CU. And the funny thing is I have completed my B.Tech degree and now working whereas my friends are having backlog and repair. Most of the students get offers in their third year itself. The placement record of CSE from LPU is phenomenal. Every year LPU breaks its own record in terms of placements. Long story short, I just wanna say at the end it all comes to the student only if they give their best they will definitely bang very good packages.

Chandigarh University has really provided me with a chance to pursue a career in one of my areas of interest which is Biotechnology Engineering. From theoretical knowledge to practical hand experience of the subject. The university has made things really easier for me to learn and understand the subject more deeply and precisely. But as we all know a teacher also plays a crucial in the life of a student. Therefore the faculty here is also anytime ready to help the student and are also completely aware of the subject! We are here provided with the fully functional practical labs along with the research labs that are equipped with high-tech machinery and equipment which the students or faculty members might need to perform any experiment or research work. Here the most attractive thing is the syllabus designing pattern. The syllabus is designed on the reviews given by the alumni after being placed into the various industries and companies. All the administration and the staff are just one click away from you. Therefore I think this is one of the best universities to pursue your career in your desired field as the university is every day progressing to upgrade its services and providing the best in class and quality education to their students.

As I have experienced it till now, LPU commits to be one of the best universities and it actually is. Whether it is in the field of placements, infrastructures, facilities etc. LPU has proven itself better than any other universities in whole north India. First of all, I would like to tell you that LPU has the highest placement records compared to other universities or colleges in the whole North India, where companies that recruit from IIT, NIT also recruits from LPU. From Google to Microsoft LPU students are working with top-notch companies at a package of 1 crore. Around 450+ companies visit every year for campus-placement of students at LPU, where more than 90% are MNCs. Over the last 3 years, Cognizant alone has recruited 1900+ students from LPU campus. India's top talent company Aspiring Minds has ranked LPU as having the Most Employable Students consecutively twice in a row. LPU has collaborated with Google, SAP, Oracle, Lupin, Microsoft, Cisco and more to have their Centres of Excellence in the university and offer their training modules as part of the curriculum.
