Is B.Tech from distance education approved by AICTE? Is it valuable to a student? Is it valuable for private institutions?
I want to pursue B.Tech from distance education.

No. There is no B.Tech distance course that is legal. As per Supreme Court Order, Technical education by correspondence or distance mode is invalid. Hence no question about it being valuable or not. Don't fall for false promises of private institutions.
