Is B.Tech in bioinformatics a good option over B.Tech in food technology for India as well as abroad?

Both are quite different, but both have good scope in India and abroad. It depends more on preference than the course itself. If you have better knowledge in your field you will obviously make your career.

Both the fields are good. Bioinfirmatics is software related studies of biology where as food technology would involve manufacturing, industrial processes.
