Is B.Tech offered in Punjab University?

Being an education consultant. , I will advise you to identify an Engineering institute for pursuing Engineering degree because of the exposure, academic content and placements are altogether different. I have seen many institutes offering lot many courses but the engineering programme offered by LPU is marvellous. I keep an eye on the rankings, types of placements and its packages offered and from that I came to the conclusion that LPU is the best provider as compared to others. On interacting with the Alumni of LPU, I came to know that Engineering (B.Tech) different branches are there like CSE, ECE, Robotics, ME, IT, Chemical Engineering, FT, BT, AE and many more which are accepted by the industry. LPU floats the following streams in B.Tech: a. B.Tech (including Dual Programmes) b. Integrated B.Tech - M.Tech c. Integrated B.Tech. - MBA d. B.Tech (Hons. ) LPU provides the following exposure to the students: 1. Industrial Tie-ups 2. Trainings and Internships 3. Professional Enhancement 4. Holistic development 5. Recognitions and rankings 6. Workshops 7. Experienced staff 8. Industry mapped curriculum last but not the least 'Placements' The university provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible student to secure good placement with the help of a dedicated Division of Career Services and faculty/staff from parent School. #More than 700 companies visit LPU to hire the talent. The highest Package Availed by Engineering (CSE) Student MS Tanya Arora is 42 LPA for batch 2020 by Microsoft. Punjab University is a formidable player no doubt, but not the best, in private sector there are good number of institutions which have done far better ! LPU is one of the most sought after University in field of technical education. More so in case of B.Tech CSE, MBA and Agriculture courses. Since the question is about Computer Sciences Engineering, I shall give some details specific to it. Course curriculum: It is any day the mainstay or back bone of any programme. The extensive research, industry consultations, feedback from existing employers of LPU students, foreign collaborators and distinguished faculty all over the world goes into developing the curriculum of LPU, and all this: Upgraded in very semester. This makes the LPU syllabi most advanced and industry oriented in all respects. Trainings : A large number of trainings in cutting edge technologies like SAP and other MOOCs are given as a part of programme to enable the students learn what others learn after the courses. For example the SAP modules which cost upwards of INR one lac are a part of curriculum free of cost. Yes, there are two departments- UIET and UICET UICET has all the branches except Chemical and Civil. UICET is specially known for chemical engineering and food technology. UICET is in the main campus and UIET is in south campus!

One of my friend has done my engineering directly from the Panjab University and not to any affiliated college and in the year 2016 I have passed out from the college and the annual fee of the course is Rs 80,000 PA and I have given AIEE Exam for taking admissions here and because this university is the prestigious one in India so that is why they have a tough education system and as well as great campus placements. So yes B. Tec is offered in Punjab University.

Well I don't have idea about Punjab University, I would say Lovely Professional University is one of the finest university that I know of. Be it academics, placements or extra-curricular activities. And I am saying this because one of my friend has done B.Tech from LPU only and right now she is working with Amazon. Few points which will help you to take decision:- It is the best private university which always focuses on learning outcomes by letting explore our capabilities. The curriculum blends in with the technology. It provides for multiple industrial exposures, live projects, an updated curriculum rigor and technology along with very good placements and personality development. Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for them by the university. , Ministry of Science Technology Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs, top Central and State Universities including (LPU) from across the country presented their research proposals. The faculty members are very knowledgeable in their respective fields. They are always ready to help the students. During the exams, professors arrange special classes for the students to help them revise better and clear their doubts. Record placements with over 610 hired on a single day by cognizant.
