Is BA Media and Journalism worth doing from Mangalayatan University?

<p>Mangalayatan University offers BA in Media and Journalism via the department of Journalism and Mass Communication.</p><p>The programme is especially designed for students to gain practical work experience through industry oriented curriculum, internships, Industrial visits, and placements in a prominent media organizations and also interaction with leading professionals. The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication provides students with a full-fledged Community Radio Station for radio, fully equipped news room studio for television programme production, media laboratory for print media production. The Department aslo publishes a half yearly newsletter &ldquo;MangalSampark&rdquo;. The Department also modern classroom infrastructure with smart class room facilities such as Smart android TV set, Projector, online lectures, Power point presentation.</p><p>The programme lasts for three years and cost around INR 18,000 &ndash; INR 60,000.
