Is BA score enough to take admission for LLB or is CLAT mandatory for it?

    Hey,
    Taking CLAT is only mandatory when you want to enter a national law college or a college which accepts CLAT score. It actually depends on the college you select. Mostly, all law colleges either conduct an entrance of their own or accept CLAT scores.

    Giving CLAT is not necessary if you want to do law via LLB 3 year course. So yes, your BA degree is enough for admission provided you fulfil all the necessary criteria of the college.

    You can do LLB after completing BA. There is no college taking admission on the basis of merit or entrance exam. CLAT is not necessary for this.

    Hi Sridevi,
    For admission in LLB, you need to have qualifying marks of graduation and you need to give exam of the concerned college. For LLB after graduation, you don't need to take CLAT exam.
