Banasthali is good in many ways as compared to other universities. Rest, it is your personal decision as you can make various comparisons between both the institutes.

I don't know much about the latter but I am a student of the former and hence can inform you about it.
Banasthali Vidyapith is the largest women residential university in the world.
For B.Tech courses we have very helpful and knowledgeable faculties.
There is 100% placement.
Bulk companies, as well as core companies, come for placements.
The environment is very nice but hot (it is in Rajasthan).
University belives in simple living and high thinking.
You have a dress code- khadi suits and uniform for two days- Wednesday and Sunday.
Yes you have college on Sunday and the weekly off is on Tuesday.
It has world class sports facilities.

Yes, Banasthali Vidhyapeth is better than Shinghad University of Pune. It provides 100% placements to B.Tech students . The campus and faculty of this college is also good. Best of luck for your future.
