Is Bangalore Institute of Management and Science Tier 1 or tier 2?

<p>Bangalore Institute of Management and Science or BIMS is ranked as a second grade institution. The institution is acclaimed for the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of management; however, it is not in the category of the elite or first-tier (Tier 1) management educational institutions of India. While Tier 1 institutions normally boast of high national ratings, good placement records and a better brand recall among companies, BIMS oftentimes fails to deliver thereon.</p><p>BIMS has moderate brand presence in the regional area and provides adequate academic infrastructure and industrial experience while the placements are not at par with the branded B-schools or the IIM's or other national B-schools.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
