Is BBDU-Lucknow a private or government institute?

<p>BBDU-Lucknow is a privately owned institution that came into existence in 2010, founded by Akhilesh Das, in honor of his father, Babu Banarasi Das, who served as a former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. This university gained its establishment through Act No. 25 of 2010, passed by the State Legislature of Uttar Pradesh, designating it as a State Private University. Furthermore, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has granted it the authority to confer degrees, as per the provisions laid out in section 22 of the UGC Act, 1956.</p>
