Is BCA a good option?

I can't get admission in software engineering. Also, I have 51 marks in maths.

    Yes, BCA is a good option as you will get into IT company after graduation.

    I would say both depending on your interest. If you are passionate about Computer applications, then go for BCA. It is always wise to choose a career with respect to your interest in the long term. All the fields are equally important and have scopes, the only matter is how you see them.

    For graduates, job opportunities exists in Government as well as Private sector. Also, self employment options are available. After BCA, which is an Undergraduate course, graduates may take up Government jobs that require a Graduation Degree (for example- Armed Forces, Nationalized Banks, PSUs etc).
    When it comes to Private sector, Software MNCs are the prime recruiters. Web hosting, IT sector, Electronics Industry are some other sectors that recruits BCA. graduates. Graduates may take up the following posts in the above mentioned sectors-
    Software Engineer
    Software Tester
    Database Management professional
    Project Manager
    Information Security

    Yes, BCA is good option. So, if you are interested in the computer field, then BCA is the good option for you. Don't worry BCA degree is valuable in the all over India. After completing class 12th, you can take admission in the BCA course. If you are good in programming or have interest in doing and learning programming, then BCA is worth it.

    BCA is a good option, because nowadays all companies want a skilled person and in BCA, you have got many good knowledge about the accounts and many more. You can apply after BCA in MNC companies, and you have got opportunity to develop career abroad also. There are lot of opportunity in India and abroad for the BCA students.

    I don't know much about YOU, so I can't tell is this good idea for you or not but I can give you some hints.
    So, every Bachelor degree is good but you should have interest in them. Like for example if you have interest in badminton, you play that game when you want to play and whenever you get opportunity to play. So, simple process is for UG course. If you have interest in BCA you please go for it. In BCA, you will learn programs of C, Java, C+, etc. This course is good for you because you have raised this question having some interest in it.
