B.tech will make you a versatile and an all rounder while BCA will limit you to computers only. Brother of my friend did b.tech in Computer Science but doing a better job in electrical engineering.

Not at all BCA programme is Nothing in Fornt of B.tech.......after BCA you have to go for MCA.........then MCA is equivalent to B.Tech...........

There cannot be any general reason to cite the importance of BCA over B.tech or vice-versa. The decision to choose largely depends upon the interest of the person.

i agree with Ankit and KKrayush you should go for BTech. it will be best option.

It will be beneficial to go for B.Tech(cs) than BCA, as after graduation job prospects are good, as Indians are known for IT minds and the demand for computer engineers are not going to decline in the next 10 years. So there will be huge scope for B.Tech if u will get a descent engg college.
