Is BCA+MCA a good career choice if I am not interested in engineering, yet want to study computers?

Simultaneously with ur Degree get hands on with C on Linux, C++ on Linux, JAVA on Linux, PHP on Linux MySQL Database, Oracle Database as well. Cos Most of the Solutions now a days r Network Solutions and Linux is most popular in Network solutions. If u get certified with RHCE which will give u Linux

If you are not interested in Btech and wanna make career in computers then BCA+MCA is a good choice. .
But before going to any conclusion i wanna show you some details..
1) BCA student have to do MCA for doing Mtech in other hand Btech student can directly do Mtech means

There are specific topics you need to learn to do MCA. It depends on your inclination and mathematical background. Though not all topics are engg related but you should know that an MCA is equivalent to a B.Tech(CSE).
