Is BCA necessary for pursuing MCA?

Dear,
So far my knowledge goes for doing MCA, BCA is not the only path. You can do MCA after doing B.Sc.in maths/ physics/ computer science. For admission in MCA in your targetted university, you have to check their eligibility criteria.

Yes, it is. BCA (Bachelor of computer applications) is an undergraduate course whereas MCA (Master of computer applications) is a post graduate course. So you cannot do a Master's degree directly without doing a UG degree.
