Is BE a valuable degree or B.Tech in Saudi Arabia and Gulf countries?

While IITs say that it is the delivery of the two that is different, AICTE chairperson believes the BE is valued more than B.Tech when applying abroad. The curriculum, however, remains almost similar for the two. Thanks.
