    There are jobs, offered in the research laboratories. Then, there are central and state universities. Promotional opportunities are also found. Honors come from governments. There are research grants, coming from the UGC. Various institutions are funded by the Tatas and Birlas. Plenty of encouragement is found, offered for the scientists and their salaries are satisfactory.
