For BSc in Biotechnology or Food Technology course, candidates must have Biology as a mandatory subject in Class 12 to be eligible for MITS Institute of Professional Studies admissions.

However, Biology is not a mandatory subject for Class 12 boards if they want to apply for BSc in Agriculture course
