Is Birla Institute of Technology Noida Tier 1 or Tier 2?

<p>Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Noida is usually ranked as Tier 2. While it is a member of the elite Birla family of institutes, it is far from carrying the same prestige as many of India's higher-ranked institutions such as the IITs or NITs that are classified as Tier 1. BIT Noida provides quality education, especially in the field of engineering and management, but overall recognition and placement packages are deemed a tier below Tier 1. But still, it maintains a very strong academic foundation and ensures great careers for its students.</p>
