Is Birla Institute of Technology Patna Tier 1 or Tier 2?

<p>Hello, very interesting but useful query. Let's first understand what these tiers are and how many tiers are there. Colleges are divided into four tiers. Colleges where after passing out, most students get high-paying jobs are called tier 1 colleges. As can be expected, older IITs fall under this category. On the other hand, colleges where students have negligible opportunities for getting jobs are called tier 4 institutes. As one can guess or imagine, tier 2 &amp; 3 colleges fall between these two extremes.</p><p>Birla Institute of Technology, Patna is not in tier 1 or tier 4. Its majority of students do get placed albeit at lower salaries. Hence we can say that it's a tier 2 institute.</p><p>Best wishes to you.</p>
