Yes, Birla Institute of Science & Technology (BITS), Goa is a Tier 1 college. BITS Goa was established in the year 2004. It is one of the other four colleges of BITS Pilani which is managed by Aditya Birla Group. The other 3 campuses are located in Pilani, Hyderabad, and Dubai. BITS Goa is duly recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC) and has an accreditation with ‘A' grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
