Is BITSAT easier than JEE?

  • Hi Nitesh,
    Yes, BITSAT is little easier than JEE but you need to score more marks in BITSAT whereas in JEE you just need to cross the caste wise cutoff marks.
    BITSAT requires speed and accuracy whereas JEE needs accuracy with more concept knowledge.
    In BITSAT it is easy to score 200 but for CSC it is not very easy because you need to score atleast 385 out of 450 to get computer science at Pilani campus.

    Both the exams check different abilities of the students. JEE Mains requires one to solve 90 questions in 3 hours while for BITSAT you need to answer 150 questions in 180 minutes.BITSAT also comprises of english and logical reasoning sections including the regular PCM.
    Although the questions are many in BITSAT, balance between speed and accuracy is essential.
    Practice will make you perfect.
    Also, for chemistry, remembering the facts is key to good score.
    You can surely expect some well-know formulas directly asked.
    So, you may find the level of questions in BITSAT is slightly easier.

    Yes, BITSAT is much easier than JEE Advanced but the cut-offs are too much high.

Students will not be able to confirm their allotment if they meet the BITSAT cutoff. However, they will have higher admission chances to their choice of course and campus. Since the allotment process will consider other factors too along with cutoff, the students will know their admission status after the seats allotted are announced.

The official date for the BITSAT direct admission registration will be announced soon. Board toppers who meet the basic eligibility criteria can register for the direct admissions. No BITSAT score will be needed by the board toppers to secure a seat in the BITS campuses.
