Both the University of Hamburg acceptance rate as well as University of Bonn acceptance rate stand at 36% each, which tells us that securing admission in these universities is equally competitiveUniversity of Hamburg admissions are very selective in nature and students must be an all-rounder in order to get admitted for pursuing their higher studies. Candidates who are excellent in academics as well as activities outside class are more likely to secure an admission.

Both Bonn & Hamburg are considered among the best institutions in their respective regions, neither of these institutions are known to charge an tuition fee, being public universities.

However, securing a seat at either is not an easy ask, with both being selective to a great degree. The University of Bonn acceptance rate stands at around 36%, while that of Hamburg University is 24%

Thus, it can be said, though both institutions are selective to varying degrees, securing a seat at UOB is marginally easier, relative to doing so at University of Hamburg.

The estimated monthly costs of living in Bonn for international students can go as high as EUR 864 (INR 81 K). The average cost of living in Bonn is around INR 75,500-INR 94,100.

This includes the cost of food, room & board, public transport, utilities & any other maintenance charges.

Prospective students are advised to carry some extra reserves to take care of any unplanned charges that may arise over the duration of stay in the city.
