Yes, Jain University offers direct admission to the second year of BTech through its Lateral Entry programme via its Faculty of Engineering and Technology. The duration of this course is three years, in which students can skip the first year of the course and get direct admission to the second year. This course is offered in the same 24 specialisations as of a four-year BTech course. Admission to BTech Lateral Entry solely depends on the percentage obtained by candidates in the Diploma and the availability of seats for the course. Those who score minimum 45% aggregate in Diploma are selected for this course.
