Is BTech losing its value?

<p>In the past five years, there has been a steady decline in enrollment for B.Tech and B.E courses due to a reduction in job opportunities in core streams. Fresher hiring by IT companies has notably decreased, &nbsp;<strong>dropping from 26% of overall passouts in FY22 to 15% and 10% in FY23 and FY24</strong>, respectively. However, there is still hope in specialised areas such as&nbsp;<strong>cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity</strong>, which continue to experience niche demand.</p><p>During 2022-23, there was a&nbsp;<strong>9% decrease in fresher hiring compared to the previous year.</strong>&nbsp;It is anticipated that this trend will persist into FY24, with a further&nbsp;<strong>5% decline expected.</strong></p>
