MBA has its own syllabus and any such prerequisite is not required. Some colleges do require two years of experience that also in other fields.

Business analytics refers to the skills, technologies, practices for continuous iterative exploration and investigation of past business performance from organisation's historical data to gain insight and drive business planning. Business analytics focuses on developing new insights and understanding of business performance based on data and statistical methods. There are two types of business analytics professionals i.e. domain specialist or technical. MBA's are hired as domain specialist. I will suggest that you do MBA and then go for business analytics. Some universities have course on business analytics in their MBA syllabus.
