Is BVMC, Pune Tier 1 or tier 2?

Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College (BVMC), Pune- Internationally accredited, It is ranked as Tier 2 Medical college. Though it is a recognised and reputed university, it cannot be compared with the first-tier medical colleges situated in India like AIIMS, PGI Chandigarh and some of the oldest government medical colleges.
There are second-tier medical colleges which also have their reputation and provide good quality education however, they may not be as high ranking or well endowed as first-tier medical colleges such as BVMC Pune.
