No, it is not mandatory for students to present a CAT score for Delhi School of Business MBA admissions. As per the official website, other than CAT, the institute accepts various other national-level exams. These exams are as follows:

    • XAT
    • CMAT
    • MAT
    • NMAT

The CAT exam score is not required for admission to the MBA programme at the Delhi School of Business (DSB). Candidates can secure a seat by submitting a valid score from any of the following exams i.e. XAT, CMAT, GMAT, MAT, NMAT, or an equivalent test. Therefore, it is not necessary to have a CAT score, candidates with scores from any of the other recognised entrance exams are also eligible for admission to the MBA course.

Indeed, a crucial part of the Delhi School of Business (DSB) MBA program's admissions procedure is the Common Admission Test (CAT). Although DSB also takes into account results from other entry examinations like the GMAT, XAT, and CMAT, the CAT is well-known and frequently chosen by the school. A minimum percentile in the CAT is required for admission, and this varies year depending on the total number of applicants and other factors. A review of academic performance, professional experience, and performance in group discussions and in-person interviews are usually part of the selection process, in addition to entrance exam results.
