CAT is not compulsory for MBA in LPU but if a student passes this national CAT exam then he/she will be exempted from LPUNEST exam.
Based on the CAT/MAT/XAT/LPUNEST score category students will be awarded scholarships as per the phase timings.
Students need to upload their CAT result card on the student dashboard (dashboard means where students start filling up the online admission application form). After that students can book their appointment and time for an interview along with that need to upload a recorded video essay(need to mention in a video with formal attire why they want to do MBA, and what is their goal for study).

CAT is one of the accepting exams for LPU admission. LPU conducts LPUNEST Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to MBA course. It is conducted in online mode every year. The test acts as an Entrance Test as well as Scholarship Test. The amount of scholarship is determined by the marks and rank obtained by candidates in the exam. LPUNEST is a 2.5 hours exam including 125 questions. Apart from LPUNEST, the university also accepts MAT, XAT and other Management entrance exam scores for admission. The shortlisted candidates are further called for GDPI round.

CAT is not compulsory for MBA in LPU but if student qualify this national level exam CAT, then LPUNEST exam is exempted.
Students need to upload CAT result card on the student dashboard ( Dashboard means where student start application form online for admisiion purpose) and then student can book interview slot Date and time.
CAT qualified students also awarded by scholarship on the basis of percentage .
If CAT is not qualified, then LPUNEST + INTERVIEW is compulsory for those who seek an admission MBA course.
