No, the CAT (Common Admission Test) is not compulsory for admission to MBA programs at all universities. While it is a key entrance exam for many prestigious management institutions like the IIMs (Indian Institutes of Management), there are numerous other universities, including LPU, that offer alternative pathways for MBA admission. LPU conducts its entrance exam, the LPUNEST, for MBA admissions, which students can take in place of CAT to secure a seat. Additionally, LPU also accepts other national-level exams like MAT, CMAT, and XAT for MBA admission, allowing flexibility for applicants.

Although passing the national CAT exam will avoid a student from taking the LPUNEST exam, CAT is not required for MBA programs at LPU.

According to the phase schedules, students will receive scholarships based on their CAT/MAT/XAT/LPUNEST score category.

On the student dashboard, which is where students begin completing the online admission application form, students must upload their CAT result card. Students can then schedule an interview time and appointment. In addition, they must upload a recorded video essay explaining their reasons for wanting to pursue an MBA and their study objectives while wearing formal clothes.

No, the Common Admission Test CAT is not compulsory to do an MBA. However, the CAT exam score is required to gain admission to top Iims such as IIM Ahmedabad. CAT scores are also considered in admissions in some other top management schools in India, such as XIME Bangalore. You may do an MBA without a CAT exam from the following top colleges:
    1. Jamia Millia Islamia
    2. IBMR Business School.
    3. Symbiosis International University
    4. Jaypee Business School.
    5. The Balaji Institute of International Business.

No, CAT is not compulsory for MBA but for getting admission to Renowned Colleges like IIMs, FMS, etc. You need to Crack the CAT with a very good score. Otherwise, you will not eligible for getting admission to India's top B-Schools.
