It completely depends upon your preparation for the Exam. I won't say tough, as every year many students clear this exam. I will describe CAT exam as one of the most justified competitive exam in India. If you prepare yourself better, then you will have a better life in future.

CAT examination is tough. But if you study hard and have your in depth concepts clear in the domains, then you will be able to score well in CAT. Good luck.
