CAT is one of the accepted exams for MBA course admissions. However, it is not compulsory to have this exam score for selection. ISMS Pune accept other national-level exam scores as well, such as CMAT/MAHCET/ATMA/MAT, etc. Candidates with a valid score of an entrance exam conducted for MBA by deemed universities can also apply. Apart from this, the aspirant must fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements.

CAT is not required for MBA at ISMS Pune. The institution accepts valid scores of different national-level entrance examinations, including MAH-MBA-CET, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, SNAP, and GMAT. The selection criteria for ISMS Pune's MBA programme include counseling based on the marks obtained in these entrance examinations, followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
