    In RRB ALP & Technician exam, only those who have applied for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and cleared second stage of, need to appear for CBAT. CBAT is for the candidates who have applied for technician post only. Candidates equal to eight times the number of ALP vacancies are called for CBAT based on the performance in Part A of second stage CBT, subject to qualifying the Part B. Candidates are required to qualify in each of the test batteries of CBAT. The questions in CBAT are in English and Hindi only. There is no negative marking in CBAT. To draw the merit list of ALP,  70 per cent weightage is given to Part A of

    Only candidates who have applied for and passed the second stage of the RRB ALP & Technician exam are required to show up for the CBAT. Only applicants who have applied for the technician position are eligible for CBAT. Based on their performance in Part A of the second stage of CBT, candidates up to eight times the number of ALP vacancies will be summoned for the CBAT, provided they pass Part B. It is necessary for candidates to pass all of the CBAT test batteries. Only Hindi and English are available for the CBAT questions. In CBAT, negative marking does not exist.
