Is CBSE 12th marksheet and certificate the same?

No. Both are different. After Passing CBSE 12th, you will get two certificates. One is your 12th Marksheet which is green in color. And the second is your passing Certificate which shows you have passed 12th with certain number of marks in different subjects. It is yellow in color. Other than these, you also receive a CBSE Migration Certificate and Character Certificate by your school/board.

No marksheet has all your marks and certificate is a certificate which certifies that you have passed your 12th and tells about your character.
