The Incoming Freshmen Honors Student Scholarship at Central State University is a merit based scholarship open to the incoming freshmen honor students at the university based on their unweighted high school GPA. The eligibility criteria for this scholarship is given as follows:

• Must be admitted to the Honors College 
• Must submit a 3.5 or more unweighted high school GPA 
• Must have demonstrated evidence of extracurricular and service activities
