Central University of Kerala is ranked at #151 out of 200 top universities in the overall category by NIRF ranking 2022.

The Central University of Kerala has been awarded the top position among the best Central Universities in the country. In a recent study conducted as part of the Top 20 Outlook-ICARE Ranking, the University is ranked 11th. Academic and Research Excellence, Industry Interface and Placement, Infrastructure and Facilities, Governance and Extension, Diversity and Outreach were taken into account for the ranking.

CUK scored 381.7 out of 400 in the most important academic and research excellence category.
