  • As per UGC & AICTE Guidelines a Diploma is a class 12 Month Course, if the Term Diploma is used it should only be offered by an institute which is accredited by AICTE, an institute which is not having AICTE accreditation cannot offer a Diploma course, Hence many institutes which does not full fill the above criteria offer Certificate Courses, a Certificate Course is a 11 Month Course. It is better if you join a UGC Approved Degree programme in Game Design & Art check the following link for details of degree programme https://ask.shiksha.com/is-bfa-degree-available-in-game-designing-qna-4686131?referenceEntityId=5767763

Though both are good, but as per me Diploma in game design is much better than certificate in Game design. As we all know that Diploma is good than certification.

Both are good as you will get additional knowledge and perfection with that. But if you want to do only one then you better go for Diploma in game designing.
    Good luck.

Yes, Diploma in Game Designing will be a good choice, but everything depends on your interest. If you have interest in Game Programming, then you should go for it. There are less competition in this field as compared to other courses. Best of luck.

    Hi Ravi,
Designing is a very practical oriented industry. Here the talent and results can be judged by the final output which generally is visible and tangible. In case of application if design this could be in multiple fields such as fashion, interior, gaming etc.
For any field pursuing a qualification is a basic necessity, therefore certificate courses would only provide you the basics of any field, where as Diploma due to the longer duration would offer you a chance to explore further, practice more giving you a wider exposure of the field.
There fore a Diploma would be preferable to a certificate.
