For B.Tech, CS Chandigarh University is the best option, as a private university in north India in all respects. So, selecting Chandigarh University would do well.

CU is a good, but now you have two chances for JEE Main in a year. So it my suggestion that you have to availed them first. One year drop is not a major issue for career progression.
