All the colleges that are operating in India are all approved by the AICTE, first the college have to take permission from this only then they are able to operate in India.

Chandigarh University is totally okay to pursue BE. AICTE is to pass the technical affiliation and UGC is for university. Before, CU was just a college so it needed AICTE approval run the engineering division but now as it is a university in its own, it is automatically AICTE approved.
