Yes, absolutely. Chandigarh University is adjudged as the best private university in North India and the best option in Punjab for CSE which is absolute because of its curriculum and academic achievements. Compared to many universities out there, CU is not that costly though can be said as moderate.

Yes, Chandigarh university is good for CSE because the university tries hard to make students the best computer engineers. The faculty is knowledgeable too.
  • Dear Rahul, CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Check the link below for more insight about the course: http://www.lpu.in/programmes/engineering/b-tech-computer-science.
Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid stipend too. Please check the link below: http://www.lpu.in/placements.php. CSE has highly qualified faculty from IITs, IIITs, NITs etc. High tech MAC labs have been set

Hi, if we talk about Punjab there are a number of institutes or universities came in existence recently, Chandigarh University is growing well. CSE requires continuous exposure to the industry which costs more as it has a very demanding scope. I would suggest you to visit the campus once, the lab and see the difference. I would suggest you to go for Desh Bhagat University and Lovely Professional universities also. As per my knowledge, Lovely Professional universities is taking the qualifying test and this may fetch scholarship also (Last Date: June 30, 2018).

Students need to appear for the test or submit scores of any other accepted exams as stated by the university. Hence, in some cases, you may get admission in CU without CUCET. The CUCET test is also a scholarship test and if you want to get the scholarship benefits offered by the university based on CUCET scores, then you will have to appear for the exam.
