Dear Aspirant, I am not sure whether mechanical engineering is good or bad at Chandigarh University as I am not much aware of this programme at CU. One of my friends did B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from LPU so I can assure you that LPU is better for mechanical engineering based on his feedback. School of Mechanical Engineering is the best Mechanical Engineering college in Punjab, India equipped with 40+ labs and modern machining to provide an extra edge to the existing curriculum which focuses on developing a strong basic knowledge. Being an LPU alumnus, I would recommend the B.Tech Mechanical programme. I am sharing my experience with the university. My time at LPU was incredible, and currently employed by XL Dynamics with a good salary. As a general rule, a lot depends on your own hard work, communication and presentation abilities, and overall preparation for placements. This is true regardless of whatever university you attend. Mechanical Engineering students are immersed in cutting-edge labs and equipment, including robotics and automation, as part of an experiential learning process. International tech-fests and contests enhance our students' overall develop

Quite good with this decision comparing this two universities. I would like to say the both universities provide the best placements in mechanical engineering. CU has provided many placements and also collaborated with no. Of companies and provided many opportunities to students to work on their skills.
