Dear Diksha, I don't have idea about Chandigarh University for B.Com LL.B course. Being an alumni of Lovely Professional University, I would say, Lovely Professional University, School of Law is one of the best Law colleges in India and Punjab and approved by Bar Council of India. Few points told by my friends who did B.Com LL.B from LPU that will help you to make your decision: Their classroom is also designed like a courtroom to familiarize the platform to the students when they will face real case in the future. This provides them confidence as the platform is familiar to them. Their big tie-ups and network provide them with the ability to provide students with real practical learning e.g: they tie up Police stations to provide them internships to learn about the cases handled. Equal importance is given to practical Practical Training along with theory papers to boost the Self-Confidence of Students as and when they enter into Bar. All the learning and experience you will gain from this university will make you ready for the corporate world, even if you dont get the placement you desire, the learning will make you ready to tackle jobs for any company, or firm you desire. In my opinion, Lovely professional university is better in all the aspects. LPU offers more than 250 programmes where Law is one among them. The School of Law is governed and regulated by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and its curriculum is also provided by BCI and in order to make students top-to-date and latest trends in the field of law, the School of Law takes initiatives to modify the curriculum as and when need arises. Students have undergone internships at various High Courts, law firms, law chambers, commissions, corporate houses and NGOs. The Alumni's are working as Judicial officers, Legal practitioners and Corporate advisors and Civil servants. In addition to this, MOOT court sessions are also provided to experience the scenario of courts. Some of the companies which have made or shown interest in recruitment from our campus are: MAP Legal Corporation, Manupatra & Co, Integrity Associates, LEGASIS , Thomson Reuters have recruited the students and many more at the annual package of Rs. 300000 per annum and above.
