    Chandigarh University is a new university and therefore is best for Computer Science due to its placements but the university is good for Civil Engineering in terms of Education Quality and rest objectives. The off-campus placements in civil engineering are good as compared to on-campus placements in Chandigarh university.

    Lovely Professional University is one of the best institutes for engineering in the state of Punjab. So if a degree in B.Tech (Civil engineering) is what you seek, I suggest that you do consider LPU. I have sound reasons to actually make this suggestion. Actually I did MBA from Lovely Professional University but I have one friend who has done B.Tech Civil Engineering From LPU. He told me B.Tech in civil engineering course involves so much more than theoretical know-how.     Apart from IIT, top colleges for civil engineering are National Institute of Technology, R.V.College of Engineering, Delhi Technological University, College of Engineering Pune, UPES Dehradun, Lovely Professional University etc.
