jst wntd to ak that i am frm science background..im loosing interest now from science and plan to do eco hons now...everyone i know is criticising my decision that a respect an engineer gets is better than doin eco hons and that the job packages are better by doing engineering..so could u please tel

Charanpreet of course u can switch to eco, our PM is an economist and was RBI governer so dont worry about career in eco. Decide with stable mind. all the best

Criticism is common and you should not get disturbed by that and look what is best for your career. Only you can take a decision about your career path as it is you who has to walk on it and no one else.

The career Avenues after Economics are enormous the best areas would be MBA Finance , Courses of Actuarial Science etc and You can also Join Software through Economics as well after Courses like SAS . You can also Appear for Indian Economic services after your Graduation .
