2 years agoDear Aayan, First and foremost, if you didn't study Chemistry in your 12th grade, it's highly likely that you didn't study Physics and math either, and these subjects are crucial for getting into an engineering programme. There aren't many differences in the eligibility requirements, but let's start with India to address your question: Except for bioengineering and agricultural engineering, every government college in India will need you to take Chemistry in order to enroll in an engineering programme. Hi Aayan, First of all if you have not studied Chemistry in your 12th, then you must have not studied Physics and Maths in most probable cases, and Physics and Maths are really important for Engineering admission. But Let's answer your Question-There is not much difference in eligibility criteria but Let's talk about India first :- Every Government College in India will ask you for Chemistry to get admission in Engineering course except for Bioengineering & Agriculture Engineering.
