Is CSVTU a good choice for the Computer Science (CS) course?
It is a good option to pursue a CS program from CSVTU but only if you select from the top colleges that come under the university. BIT D, SHANKRA1, CSIT, SSIPMT or RUNGTA1 are some of the good colleges that offer the Computer Science program. For students who do not want to move out of Chhattisgarh, CSVTU is a good option for higher studies.
Try to get admission to the top few colleges that come under CSVTU and then put in your hard work. Computer Science engineering courses include more technical and less theoretical aspects. Hence, you need to be consistent with your studies all year round. You cannot get good marks in your semester exams in these subjects with just one night of mugging. Tuition fee and course duration at CSVTU
Coming to the tuition fee at CSVTU, the fee for BE/ BTech courses is between INR 17.25 K- 3.6 L, depending on the stream chosen. The fee for the MCA program is INR 1.01-1.08 L. The entrance exam for the MCA program is NIMCET while for the UG courses, it is JEE MAIN, CG PET. While the duration of the MCA course is 2-5 years, for the BE /BTech courses it is 3-4 years.

More than 90% of students at CSVTU are placed in reputed companies. The highest salary package offered was INR 6-12 LPA, and the average CTC was INR 1-4 LPA at the 2021 placements.
